I set up Acanthus in 2014 in response to what I saw as a gap in the market for digitally-savvy B2B and private client marketing support for professional services, wealth management and financial technology firms, particularly where flexible, senior consultancy services are required for smaller firms.
To meet that need I have built a network of similarly experienced and practised professionals in areas like training, design, digital and research who I enjoy working with and who deliver high-quality results without fuss.
Over a 25 year career I have held a variety of director level roles in B2B and private client marketing with, amongst others, Rathbones and Barclays, and in financial communications consultancy working with investment managers, wealth managers, private equity firms, insurance companies, financial technology providers and professional services firms.
I have worked on nationwide, pan-European and global projects, but I am happiest rolling up my sleeves up to find effective solutions to marketing problems and delivering projects that make a difference to businesses.
